Inaccurate information that to be submitted to third party providers could lead to delays or even denial of benefits, particularly regarding health and death benefits including your beneficiaries.

Data Privacy Agreement

GLOBAL FILIPINO SUPPORT SYSTEM ASSOCIATION INC. (GFSSAI) and all its subsidiary offices and departments recognize their responsibilities under the Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the “Data Privacy Act” of 2012, with respect to the data they collect, record, organize, update, use, consolidate, disclose, transfer and subsequently dispose from their members.

The personal data obtained from all transactions are entered and stored within the department's authorized information technology (IT) communications system and will only be accessed by authorized GFSSAI personnel.

The GFSSAI has instituted appropriate organizational, technical and physical security measures to ensure the protection of the member’s personal data. Furthermore, the information collected and stored by GFSSAI shall only be used for the following purposes:

1. Processing of data or service requests and other related functions such as consolidation of applications, management of data records for active members, and as basis for the further development of service and privilege, protocols and guidelines of GFSSAI;

2. Announcements, promotions, communications, caucuses, meetings, programs, additional privileges, claims, other benefits and activities offered/organized by the GFSSAI and its affiliated partners.

The GFSSAI shall not disclose the member’s personal information without their consent, except for disclosures that may be made pursuant to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable laws, and shall retain this information over a period of ten (10) years for the effective implementation, management, and performance evaluation of the purposes stated above.

MEMBER CONSENT:

I have read the department Data Privacy Statement and express my consent for the GLOBAL FILIPINO SUPPORT SYSTEM ASSOCIATION INC. (GFSSAI) and its subsidiary offices and departments to collect, record, organize, update or modify, retrieve, use, consolidate, block, erase, transfer, disclose or dispose of my personal data as part of my information.

I hereby declare that I'm fully aware that I am joining Global Filipino Support System Association Inc. I will abide to its By-Laws, Rules, Policies, and Regulations.

I also affirm my right to be informed, object to processing, access and rectify, suspend or withdraw my personal data, and be indemnified in case of damages pursuant to the provisions of the Republic Act No. 10173 of the Philippines, Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its corresponding Implementing Rules and Regulations.
